Women’s Bible Study
Mondays – 6:15-8:00 pm in Fellowship Hall
Beginning January 9, the study of James by Beth Moore. Bible scholars compare James to the prophet Amos. In other ways James more closely resembles the Book of Proverbs than any New Testament book. Come along the journey to get to know both the man and the Book of James. You will never be the same again. This is a great night of study and fellowship with a great group of women! Contact Shari Phillips for more information.
Women’s Lunchtime Bible Study
Wednesdays – noon-1:00 pm in the Parlor
This is the perfect one-hour study for busy women's schedules. We're all working ladies, but this is our one hour a week for group Bible Study and fellowship - and it makes all the difference. This winter we will be studying Galatians by John Stott. Contact Lorie Kraus if you are interested.

Cozy Winter Mornings beginning January 19. Once again the Thursday morning Women's Bible Study will offer an escape from the ordinary. While winter is in full swing,we will be meeting in cozy homes for a time of fellowship, study and prayer. We will be looking at practical ways to apply God's Truth to our overly hectic lives. Please join us as we strive to deepen our relationship with Jesus and each other. To join, or if you have questions, please contact Sheila Nemethy.
Women’s Bible Study

Sheila Walsh searched Scripture for what God has promised us, what God's promises mean, and how these promises provide the foundation for daily confidence, joy and hope. Men’s Fellowship
Saturdays – 8:00-9:00 am in Fellowship Hall
The Saturday breakfast group is attended every Saturday by 15-20 men that love to laugh, eat and enjoy good Christian fellowship. We talk about everything including sports, world news and what's going on in our lives; and yet each week we have some deep and inspirational discussions during our Bible study time under the leadership of Scott Wagner. Our group is based on the Biblical purposes in Hebrews 10:24-25. We take turns providing breakfast, which includes everything from bakery-runs to full breakfasts cooked in our church's kitchen. At our breakfasts we make plans to help church members who have filled out our "Job Jar" request cards. We keep to a strict time schedule starting at 8:00 and ending at 9:00 so we have the rest of the Saturday to go about our business. The St. Joseph First UMC Men's Fellowship group invites all men to join us for Saturday breakfast where the coffee is always hot, the food is good (sometimes great!), and the Christian fellowship is thriving! No RSVP needed!

P-3 Adult Bible Study
Wednesdays – 6:45 pm at Panera Bread
This is not your typical Bible Study! P-3 stands for People with a Purpose at Panera. We discuss topics like: Is there such a thing as absolute truth? Aren't people basically good? We look at these topics from a Christian and non-Christian point of view. Each topic stands alone so anyone is welcome to join us anytime! Contact Shari Phillips for more information.
