Easter Worship

April 1 Palm Sunday
Traditional services at 8:30 am & 11:00 am
Catch 9:45 Casual service with worship band at 9:45 am

April 5 Maundy Thursday
Tenebrae service at 7:00 pm.
This "service of shadows" will include readings of Christ's passion from the Last Supper to his crucifixion and death.  Lights throughout the church are extinguished and the chancel area and altar are stripped of their decorations and worship elements.  The service ends in silence as we anticipate glory of Easter.

April 6 Catch Good Friday

Casual service at 6:45 pm
A quiet, reflective, contemporary service which will include our worship band unplugged.  We will focus on the death and sacrifice of Jesus Christ.

April 7 Easter Egg Hunt

Family fun from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm.  Lunch included.  Have the kids bring their own baskets!

Easter Sunday

Sunrise Service at Kiesel Overlook
at 7:00 am
A sunrise service on the bluff at the Kiesel Overlook on Red Arrow Highway/Lakeshore Drive just south of Hilltop Road - this is a joyful celebration by the lake as we gather to sing and worship and celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

Traditional Worship Celebrations of the Resurrection of Jesus Christ
at 8:30 am & 11:00 am
Service will include three choral anthems, communion, and hymns all accompanied by a chamber orchestra.  The anthems will include "Honor and Glory" by Bach, "Now Let Us Sing the Christian Joy" by Handel and "He Is Not Here" by Nagy.  The orchestra will also play music by James Kraus and Royce Cole.

at 9:45 am
Contemporary Worship with our worship band will feature solos including "Like a Lion" sung by Kevin Clark.  We will sing several other songs together in celebration including "What a Savior" by Laura Story and "My Hope Is in You" by Aaron Shust.

Easter Breakfast
Join us in Fellowship Hall for breakfast 9:15-10:30 am.   Come hungry and give generously.  All proceeds will be donated to the summer Youth Mission Trip.
