Love Your Family Valentine's Party, February 5, 2:00-3:15 pm - An afternoon of fun especially for 4 year olds through 2nd graders and their families! Valentine's Dinner & Dance, February 11, 6:00-10:00 pm - Come and enjoy a special evening in celebration of Valentine's Day! All proceeds help the youth attend this year’s mission trip to Georgia. Cost: $10 for single, $18 for couple, $8 per person for groups of three or more. Please pay at the door. Menu: Caesar Salad, Chicken Parmesan, and Chocolate Cake. Ash Wednesday, February 22, 6:00 pm supper & 7:00 pm worship - We begin the observance of Lent with a sacrificial supper (soup and a sandwich) in the Fellowship Hall. Worship in the sanctuary follows which includes Holy Communion. Please contact the office if you plan to attend the supper.
Walk to Jerusalem starting February 22- On Ash Wednesday, we will begin a symbolic 47 day walk to Jerusalem. Our journey will end on Easter Sunday. Click here to find out more! Contact Julie Lester.
St. Joseph High School Chamber Orchestra Concert, March 11, 4:00 pm - The Music Department of the St. Joseph First UMC will present the SJHS Chamber Orchestra in concert as a fundraiser for the church's music ministry. This group is highly acclaimed at regional and statewide competitions. Under the direction of Burke Lokey, the group will present music by Corellli, Grieg and others. Several of our church's youth are significant performers in this outstanding orchestra. Bring a friend and come enjoy!
