Christmas Worship Services

November 19, 2019

You are warmly invited to come to one (or more!) of our Christmas services and celebrate the good news of the birth of Jesus Christ and the light He brought into our world.  The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it. (John 1:5)

Sunday, Dec. 22 at 9:00 am – The cantata “In the Beginning Was the Word” composed by James Kraus will be presented by the chancel choir, soloists and an orchestra.  This cantata uses the scripture from John 1:1-14 as the main movements and adds carols to celebrate the coming of the Light of the World.

Monday, Dec. 23 at 6:45 pm – This unique Christmas Eve, Eve service and party is led by our worship band and singers.  Join us as we celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ with songs, stories, birthday cake and glow sticks!

Tuesday, Dec. 24 at 7:00 pm – This Christmas Eve service is for families and children and includes favorite carols and special music. It is a joyful time celebrating the birth of Jesus.

Tuesday, Dec. 24 at 11:00 pm – This traditional Christmas Eve service offers Lessons and Carols accompanied by a choir and chamber orchestra.  We light candles throughout the sanctuary as we welcome the newborn King.
